Another child, Isaac Son-of-Abram, has gone missing. A distraught father unlocks a box of bloody secrets from his past. Artemis staves off a lynch-mob, and finds another lead. Chet prepares to delve into the deadly Wilder, looking for evidence to condemn or exonerate Nowell's prime suspect in the children's disappearances –a strange man who calls himself “Jack", who claims to be an innocent witch-doctor.
